Happy New Year! We hope you enjoyed a safe & happy holiday season. We have another busy year planned at Alma VFW Post 1454. We invite you to join us in fun & fellowship as we assist our community and our Veterans, locally & nationwide. Our Post & Auxiliary welcomes new members! 2021 Wreaths Across America

We'd like to thank everyone involved in 2021's Wreaths Across America tribute to our nation's Fallen Soldiers. We appreciate our community's support in this worthy cause. Our thanks to all in attendance, to our volunteers and the many generous groups & individuals that contribute to the purchase of wreaths. Voice of Democracy & Patriot Pen Winners!

Please join us in congratulating the recently named Voice of Democracy and Patriot Pen essay winners. Each year students throughout the U.S. participate by submitting original patriotic & democratic-themed essays for the chance to earn scholarships & awards. This year's participants did an exceptional job preparing their essays. Post VOD winner Bonnie Lord's essay was also selected as the winning essay for District 9. Congratulations students! Great job!

Congratulations Dale Chalut!

We would also like to congratulate VFW 1454 Post and Honor Guard Member, Dale Chalut. Dale was honored as 2021's Veteran of the Year by Alma Elks #1400 at their Annual Veteran's Dinner. We're very proud of Dale for his dedication to his fellow Veterans, his many achievements and for his leadership of VFW Post 1454's Honor Guard. Congratulations Dale Chalut! It's a well-deserved honor.

A very special thank you to Club Manager Ellen for always serving up the fun & festivities at VFW Post 1454! Our Post looked beautiful for the holidays. Ellen planned a great New Years Eve Party too, as always! We all appreciate your hard work and dedication Ellen. (And your innovative thinking!)
