Alma Panthers 2022 Military Appreciation Football Game  Thank you Alma Panthers Football Team for your continued support of our nation's Active Duty Military Personnel and Veterans. Go Panthers! Debt-Free Chicken Dinner What's burning? It Wasn't the Chicken!
Many thanks to our wonderful volunteers & attendees of our "Debt-Free Chicken Dinner" on Saturday, October 1st to celebrate a major Post achievement. The loan for our parking lot has been satisfied! Post Commander Vic Simon completed the final step necessary to seal the deal. The Burning of the Mortgage! Thank You Loretta Lombard! Thank you Loretta for your service, volunteerism & support for Veterans, VFW Post 1454 & Auxiliary. We ALL appreciate your hard work, support & dedication. We are so grateful for all you do for our Post & Auxiliary! Explorers Reached VFW Post 1454!  Upcoming Fall Events  Pastie Sale $5 Each - Orders Due Friday, Oct. 7th Pick Up At Post Thursday, Oct. 13th After 3 PM  Friday, Oct. 28th - 5 to 7 pm - Public Welcome! 
Wow - A Full Lot of Awesome Entries! Best of Show   VFW Post 1454 would like to give a special thanks to Mike & Pat Brennan and Pat's Auto, Inc. for sponsoring The Jack Cross Memorial Classic Car Show. We are honored to host this awesome event!   We would also like to thank all of the entrants for sharing your time to show off these beauties. It was a real treat for the crowd! Thank you to our guests and of course, our wonderful volunteers for dedicating their time & hard work to ensure the success of our events. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!   July is almost over but we have many more Summertime events at our Post. Be sure to follow our Facebook page & watch the sign board in front of our Post for Pop-Up Event Information! Upcoming Events     Here's What Happened Earlier This Summer....Thank You Central MI Chapter of The Sons of the American Revolution for your generous donation!  Heroes Center Coming to St. Louis, MI! Tom Geisken Memorial RideFlag Day 2022Memorial Day Ceremony 2022   We had a great turnout for this year's 3rd Annual Salute & Shoot Bowfishing Tournament with the highest number of registered teams to date. Our thanks to our generous sponsors and all participating teams. Special thanks to Lisa Fish, Madison Fish & Tony Miller for all of your help. Many thanks to our wonderful team of volunteers for preparing & serving a delicious breakfast to kick off this event and to all involved for making this event a huge success! There are many ways to show your support to our Active Duty Military Personnel. Reach out to your family, friends & community members serving in the military. Cards, letters & care packages from home are simple ways to show appreciation & brighten someone's day.
Or contact your local Veteran's organization. Many, including our own Post & Auxiliary, collect care package items to ship to our Troops stationed overseas.
