Go Fund Me Campaign - Roofing Repairs

There's something to be said about a man with a plan. When Post Member Jeff Humphrey's plan to repair the kitchen roof at our Post didn't go quite as planned, he came up with an alternative. A Go Fund Me Campaign to obtain the funding for the building materials needed to repair our kitchen roof.

Jeff created the Go Fund Me Campaign and published it to our Post's Facebook page to get the ball rolling. Through the powers of social media, Jeff's Go Fund Me Campaign caught the attention of the Alma City Police Department. They pledged their support with a "No Shave November" fundraiser with proceeds supporting our Post's roofing repairs.

Our Go Fund Me Campaign also caught the attention of the local news, WMEN Channel 5. They sent a crew out to interview Jeff. If you missed the broadcast, you can read the article & watch the news story by clicking HERE.
