Vietnam Freedom Wall - Veterans Park, Belding, MI

On July 15th, VFW Post 1454 organized a bus tour to visit the Vietnam Freedom Wall located inside Veterans Park in Belding, Michigan. The Vietnam Freedom Wall contains the names of the 2,654 Michigan soldiers who gave their lives in the Vietnam War including 130 soldiers from our district (District 9) and 17 soldiers from Gratiot County. Veterans Park honors Michigan soldiers of all wars and our country's POW/MIA - You Are Not Forgotten. It was a moving experience for all who participated, one that photos simply cannot convey. We encourage you to visit Veterans Park yourself and support your local Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Honor A Vietnam Veteran - Engrave A Brick Program

Engraved bricks in tribute of Vietnam Veterans are available for $50 each. These bricks will be placed in front of the Vietnam Freedom Wall Monument and can include the name of any Vietnam Veteran. If you would like to purchase a brick, contribute to the Vietnam Freedom Wall project or support Veterans Park please contact our Post. We will be happy to provide you with more information. 

Bus Trip, Park Tour & VFW Post 4406 Photos

Our day also included a visit to VFW Post 4406 in Belding, Michigan. We would like to extend a huge thank you to the Belding Veterans of Foreign War Members and Auxiliary for their wonderful hospitality. Our group had a wonderful time and all enjoyed visiting your Post.
